- At USA Dance monthly dances you don't hear just one or two kinds of music. You get variety:
- Cha-Cha
- Foxtrot
- Rumba
- Tango
- Swing
- Waltz
- Salsa
- West Coast Swing
- Merengue
- Quickstep
- Samba
- and others
Exercise all those muscle groups. Our dances also include dance lessons and exhibitions.
- Several Memphis-area studios put on dances. Check with them for details.
- The Al Chymia Shrine Temple has monthly tea dances.
- The perfect warmup for the weekend: If you have Friday afternoon available, check out the dance at the Gaisman Community Center. Each Friday, from 1:30 to 3:30, you can dance on a large wood floor to live music for $5 a person. Other Memphis Community Centers and Senior Centers also offer dances.
